Yes, folks....Beatrice is breaking into the blog scene not with her birth story, but rather with the breaking news that at 7 1/2 months old she got her first two teeth on the same day! (read previous post if wondering why this is the first story about Beatrice) Okay, so maybe the teeth didn't come in on the same day, but no one except Beatrice will ever know! I was changing her diaper when she broke into a big toothy grin. Yep---I saw a flash of white and thought to myself, "Now that couldn't have been a tooth in there was it?!" And when I put my finger in I found two chompers! Beatrice---if you read this later in life I will apologize now: We ARE paying attention to you. No we did not mail a birth announcement---but we never mailed your brother's AND your sister's went out when she was one year old! Please forgive us for all of the times you thought we weren't paying as much attention to you as we did to baby number one or baby number two. After you have forgiven us for those times, please try to grasp what I am realizing daily: Baby number one had mommy and daddy celebrating the first of everything in her life. Baby number two had mommy, daddy, and big sister. But for you, Beatrice---when I found those first teeth---there were four people cheering and celebrating everything unique about you! We love you, Beatrice. Welcome to our world!
